Sorry for the double post...
Any way I got this strange rubbing/rotating noise in the left front. Rebuilt front end this last summer, new Michelin's last month. Checked left front wheel and found it to be out of balance(statically) and rotated front to back. Noise still seems to remain in the same place. Checked wheel bearing play,okay. Sounds like a plastic gear going out. Speedo drive? This sound is at road speed, and not engine speed. I've thought about driveline, but sound does not change under load/off load. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Headed for driveline next.
