because there is just too much debate on what is a good antifreeze, what is safe, etc.

BMW antifreeze from the dealer is $15 (with CCA discount). Sure, there is cheaper stuff available at Pep Boys. But rather than study the debate, the pros/cons, etc. of various antifreeze, I just spend the extra $15 every 2 years and get BMW Antifreeze from the dealer. Then I just avoid the debate all together, and have 100% certainty I am using the best stuff for water pump, radiator, etc. longevity.

I have been using Peak for the entire ownership, says it is safe for all metals, but noticed it has Phosphates in it which the book says is a no no.
