The term "SI board" is ambiguous. People generally refer to the whole instrument cluster circuit board as the SI board, but the little board with the LEDs on it could also go by that term. I assume you have the later model circuit board. If your indicator board has 1 red LED, not 3, then you do.

If you have the thing all taken apart, you pull the temp/fuel gauge assembly out the front, then remove the indicator board from the back of that assembly.

This is all delicate stuff- if you just start yanking, you'll bend something. Try exerting gentle pressure on the threaded rods that stick out the back of the instrument cluster board. These are part of the temp/fuel gauge assembly, and pushing on them should help remove that assembly. The indicator board physically latches to this assembly but electrically connects to the main circuit board with a number of pins that should just slide out as you remove the temp/fuel gauge assembly.

Given the fact that I now have this thing apart in my hands, How would I completely remove the si board? I am assuming that the si board is not the entire green circuited board, but a component behind the fuel and temp gauges.
