I had this experience- same model, same year. Finally I came across starting instructions in the original glove-compartment manual. It says when starting a warm 528e to crank until it starts -up to a minute of cranking. If you pause, and try again, it floods. Only time to cool down will help- both the car and you!
starts fine cold runs great,but after it is shut off for 10-20 min. it will not start.it cranks over but will not start.some times it quits while driving what do you think.
