other than an increase in sludging and wear. Unless the car has run a synthetic diet for a long time, you won't really be doing much harm. The 10/10 rule applies. It's the first 10,000 miles and first ten seconds after startup that really determine the longevity of the motor.

Frequent Fresh Dino Oil is better than infrequently changed synthetic.
