please elaborate. The reason I ask, if you decrease the back pressure of exhaust system enough you can actually induce a lean run situation. The chip in the ECU is actually set to run the car on the lean side of stoiciometric for emissions. When I installed my custom exhaust I ran into a similar situation but not as severe. I had to bump my fuel pressure up by swapping in a 3.0 bar FPR for the stock 2.5 bar unit (the 533i has M5 injectors but uses a 2.5 bar FPR).

You may want to look into your actual fuel pressure, the FPR is known for going bad and can cause all sorts of weird drivability problems.

Feels like a vacume leak, runs, but burbles, no power, car vibrates under load, replaced airduct, vacume hoses, fuel filter, plugs all look good, It has a custom exhaust, any ideas?
