Hello all, Well I did it again. Another improvement, or depending on how you look at it, waste of money on my M535i conversion. I decided to purchase these Alpina rims off of Ebay, and I think it will greatly enhance the looks of my car. My question is this-I know that the 235 tires will fit up front, but what about those 265's in the rear??? Why will they not fit, is it because of the perch in the rear of the car or is it that the outer fender will cut into the tire? I already know that a 245/40/17 will fit, but what about the 265/35/18 in the rear? I just can't wait to put these on her. If I have to, I will just purchase another set of 245/35/18's for the rear if they fit. Thanks for all input. And yes, these wheels will be required for the modifications that this car will undergo. I saw the car at the body shop Saturday and it looks great. It only awaits the fog lights and driving lights to be applied and an adjustment on the driver door hinge. As soon as I get it back, the Turbo-prepped head will be slapped on and then I will begin thinking about that 745 option. Talk to you all later! Here is the link to the rims I bought: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1703213860&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1013887343&indexURL=0&rd=1
That should give a good idea of what I have to work with for now on my car. Please let me know what best combo will work with these rims as far as the widest possible tire combo. thanks Rob
