Box is throttle switch. Also, Armor All caveat (archive)

The box is the throttle switch. It tells the ECU if the throttle is closed (idling) or wide open.

Many on this board have a low opinion of Armor All, saying that once treated, vinyl becomes "chemically dependent" on regular Armor All fixes, or else it will suddenly age and die like Dorian Gray.

Also, observe the following, from the Armor All website:

"Note: Not for personal cleansing"

Just went and bought a package of these armor-all wipes and they work great. Couldn't believe how much dirt was on the inside of my car. They're a little on the expensive side (relatively speaking), but well worth it. Oh, also quick question: I took my throttle body off today to clean it, WD40 the pivots, etc. and noticed a small black box on the front side of it(towards the front of the car). I had pulled this off when I took the throttle body off, and was just wondering what it is. I probably could just go look in my Bentley, but hey, that's what you all are for right? Thanks a lot in advance.
