Here's an interesting ponderance...
I'm told by the company today that I will be working in the field for the next week, and I can use my own vehicle to commute there (it's about 300 miles each way).
Soo, of course they'll pay gas, but what should I ask for wear and tear? Of course, I'll use my 528e with 332k miles, it's winter here and the 6er's hibernating, and my new-to-me 533i will wait a few days for me to be certain of it before I subject it to lotsa miles. Plus the 528 has a spare motor lying around and lots of other parts, making it cheaper to fix wear and tear for me than the 533i.

So,Should I bill by the hour (freeway speeds)? By the mile? How much?
