back side of the instrument panel on the same side as the single horizontal connector. I just changed my instrument panel and i took very careful notes when removing the wires.

Turned over 190,000 miles on Saturday!

I pulled the instrument cluster this afternoon, and replaced the bulbs. Re-installing it, I found an extra wire, a single brown wire with a blue plug. I couldn't see anyplace for it to go. The gauges all seem to be working fine, and the car runs fine. The only thing a bit different is that the coolant temp gauge now registers about center (straight up) and it read towards the low end before today. Any thoughts about the extra wire and the change in coolant temp?
