The best form of BonAmi for car use is the cake or bar form; it looks like a bar of ivory soap, but with the familiar Bon Ami graphics. Wet a rag, and rub un the bar, use the paste to clean water spots off of glass, and chrome. I heard about it from a guy who ran a chrome plating shop. It works beautifully on chrome.

I have the windshield pits. I saw a couple of posts recently
concerning BonAmi. Is it the glass cleaner or the regular
cleaner that they were talking about? The glass cleaner just seems to obvious. I was hoping it was somthing special
using the regular powder cleaner. I can find the regular cleaner. I cant find the glass cleaner.
Thanks
Jeff
