The u-joint on the steering shaft near the box might be iffy, and the splined connection under the dash might be loose (don't tighten that too much or you won't be able to adjust your steering column).
Have you checked your wheel bearings? If they're loose, they could be a contributor. Note that these can't be adjusted, only replaced.
Still need help. I have a front end shake when I'm traveling along a low speed and hit a bumpy section of road while braking (not worped disk). I feel this through the steering wheel. Over the course of the last year or so I've replaced the tie rod ends, ilder arm, drag link, pitman arm, weld one of the steering box mounting brackets, and fit oversized bolts in the steering box. My clunks have gone away but the vibration/shaking under the above conditions haven't. Is it the control arm or strut bushings? How can I test?
