Yup, it can be done. Remove the two bolts holding the master on. Unplug the two fluid level sensor wires. Wrestle the master off the push rod (Lines attached, the rubber one will fall off.). Hold on to the pertruding edge of the end cap, mini vise grip on the retaining screw and it's out!
