Erin at Strictly European was working on an E24 with a 5oo hp small block for a customer when I was still living in San Diego (16 months ago). It had box fender flares and a Lenco 6 spd tranny. The customer was building it for auto crossing and lost interest. Erin acquired the car and last I heard was fitting an M70 motor he had into the car. Not sure if the "project" has been completed though, but Erin would have some info on the problems he encountered with this type of swap...
