Wet trunk????? (archive)

I replaced the tail light gaskets and im sure the water isnt coming from them. The trunk lid gasket is good and im sure the water isnt coming in from there. But i can see on the left side where the jack is kept where water seeps down from the above vent. Im talking about the vent that is positioned between the driver side rear door and the rear window. Anyway anyone know how to fix this vent so it wont leak. Either the water is coming from the rear sunroof drain or just where water collects in the vent as it runs down the car. I have know clue how this vent works so any suggestions will help.
