Help? Stuck int sport or 123 mode! (archive)

Went out for a spin this afternoon, and got a little frisky with it in sport mode. When I went to put it back into economy mode it was still in sports shifting mode. The only way to shift quicker is to move to 123 mode, otherwise she runs out to almost the redline before shifting. Anyone had this happen to them? Could it be in the switch?
