If the unit isn't already fried, make sure the trunk lock button is depressed all the way. Sometimes they stick, and the central locking is prone to going haywire.

Good luck,

I was washing my car and all of a sudden the doors all locked on their own. And I could hear the power locks trying to relock the doors about once a second. It would wuit for a while and then start the auto-locking all over again. And of course my only key was in the car.

Any idea what causes this? Probably a water short, but where? And any tricks to getting the thing to unlock short of calling a locksmith?
