There were a lot of new faces, as well as a "new" E28 on the scene. The owner, Alex, told an interesting tale. A few years ago, this Euro M5 (yes, it really is a Euro M5) was for sale in the Roundel, but was still for sale as of last year. Alex went to look at it, but the guy wanted $11K, so he declined. A few months later, the PO called and asked if he was still interested. He said yes, but couldn't afford it. The PO said he had to leave immediately on a trip to Europe and didn't anticipate returning any time soon, probably not in the next five years, then said that if Alex got there in the next 30 minutes, he could have it. "Yeah, but have it for how much?" "You can have it for nothing." He got there, got the title, and asked if there was anything that might make him regret obtaining the car (meaning, of course, drugs or human body parts). The answer was no. However, having spent over $10K on it since he got it…

This car has a fresh engine, a Split-Second MAF, built-in radar/laser detectors, a Buffalo interior (but with Pearlbeige seats), and lots of wear-and-tear. Alex wants to get more involved in the chapter, so I'm sure I'll be seeing more of this unique E28!
BTW, the "Ridden Hard and Put Away Wet" was Alex's description of his car.
