Earlier today I was looking at my engine and noticed that the injectors would be rediculously easy to replace. I'm planning on doing a free flow intake (already done - intake on my car was shot and I had a free flowing intake lying around), fairly free flowing exhaust (exhaust is aftermarket right now, but don't know how free flowing it is - sounds great, though), a chip (does Jim Conforti make a programmable EPROM?) and, if I can afford it, a Schrick cam and a mass airflow sensor (any good leads on someone with a dyno in the Arlington, TX, area?). Question is, should I go 19lb or 24lb on the injectors? I'd prefer to only buy one set of injectors. Will going 24lbs now hurt my performance? (I will be chipping it in the next couple of months) Will going 24lbs over 19lbs make any difference with the mods I plan on doing?. Also, any one ever try putting 225's on 840i rims (on this car - I know it'd fit on an 840i)? As is, with the 15mm offset, 205's sit really close to the edge of the rims (looks really mean - I love it). Will rolling the fenders give me enough clearance to shove 225's under there without any damaging effects? Thanks for entertaining the drunk guy.
