Try main relay first, then start checking the things that tell it to spark like the flywheel sensors and the coil. The main relay has two contacts, one for the fuel end of things, and one for ignition, so it can work but not work. Make sure all the electrical connectors are on tight, not just kind of on. Check the fuses, I think one might supply ignition power. ECU's don't fail all that often, it is usually associated inputs.
