mainly will prevent clutch chatter that is prevalent in this type of lsd...

After having quite a scare with my 3.25 upgrade - horrible groaning and shudder from the rear when turning - problem apppears to be completely gone with a flush with Redline and 1/2 bottle of GM's LSD additve.

This peaked my curiosity to ask: if the additives help eliminte or reduce the friction in the diff clutch system - would't that possibly change the effectivness of the LSD? I guess these stock diffs are about a 25% lock up - but with the Redline and an additive, I wonder if I am now running say 20% or less.

I probably wouldn't care too much, but I got the limited slip as this car is used at the Autox.

Hopin' some of the more technical types on the board might have an opinion :)

Thanks for joining the tech topic of the day!
