Today, I finally had access to things I have not seen for months because my latch quit working.

I tried taking it apart at the rear hinges but could not get my big ass hands in there to get it open because it was still attached at the lock.

I came across a parts car and I got the latch from it.

You can get one through Bav auto pretty cheap or maybe try post a message for wanted latch.

I took a screwy driver and pretty much just pried the latch until it came apart. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the box itself when doing this.
