Well,it goes like this:Spent lot's of time looking for a set of wheels that I'd be happy with.My first purchase was a set with an incorrect offset... and I didn't want to use spacers.TSW is one of the VERY few manufactures that makes wheels specifically for the E28.I wasn't really looking at these but they were ordered for someone else at the local wheel/tire shop. That person couldn't come up with the rest of the money so,the owner kind of talked me into them.(i think he was sick of seeing my face AND he lowered the price by $700 for wheels AND tires...TSW VX1's and 235/45 ZR17 NITTO's).
On the brakes...I did the big brake upgrade.Since I had the calipers etc. on the bench and clean already,I decided to paint them.Foliatec makes paint specifically for this application...and it's not cheap! I've seen many BMW's with this done.I realy didn't like the yellow...definately rice...wasn't crazy about blue either.Black...why bother? So red it was.I think it offsets the dark color of the car well.
It's going to sleep for the winter today. It doesn't agree with the New England weather.

What's up with the CHROME wheels that sitck out? And the front calipers are red.

Beautiful car, otherwise.
