I bought E32 750 calipers and hangers from Zionsville Auto,(used),and the vented rotors from The Ultimate Garage. The $$ for everything was pretty reasonable especially considering how much better the braking is now AND I don't have to worry about warping any more stock E28 rotors. No,I haven't done the rears yet but I will in the spring.I hope the used E34 stuff is reasonably priced too.I don't put the car on the track so I'm not going to worry about venting.
On the bumpers...they're BMP glass...no protection underneath! I purchased the car with this already done.I really like the Euro look but I am somewhat concerned about the "what if's".Since I only but about 2000 miles on the car per year,it's not really a big deal.
Thanks for the info!

Brake upgrade and bumpers? Are those Euro bumpers or the Hartge or BMP 'glass kit? What brakes did you use? I know the E32 750iL, 850i or 850CSi calipers and rotors are a direct fit. Did you do the rear brakes, too? did you know that any E34 rear brakes will work--525i, 535i, 530i, 540i, M5. The only difference is venting. The 540 and M5 rears are vented, 300x20mm, while the 525/30/35 are solid 300mm, I don't know thickness. Venting is only necessary for track use. It just adds weight unless you need the cooling.
