I recently came across someone who put an M5 engine into a 535iS, along with a few other modifications. I am interested, but somewhat skeptical, mostly wondering if the engine will overpower the rest of the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, etc.

Anyone ever done this successfully without regretting it later?

Jon, as long as the trany is clean taken out and a 265 or 280 geeetrag is moved on in, it will all be ok, the rest of the drive train will hold up just fine.
