It seems Scott misread the ebay listing. The seller is only selling the stock crankshaft, rods and pistons from his engine.

However, periodically the engine and transmission you are looking for can be found here.

Scott is right with his advice to beware. I would insist that the seller provide you with results from a leakdown test and guarantee them before purchasing anything.

I bought an engine and transmission that was advertised on the internet to replace a tired unit in my '88 M5. Just before installing it I decided to compression and leakdown test it.

The motor was shot and the transmission required rebuilding. Learn from my costly mistake.
