The front and rear will have to run different offsets to fit. I put 255/40 R1s on the rear of mine with the radial spoke E39 17x9 that are 26mm offset. They fit with fender trimming. This is with a STG IV Dinan suspension. The fronts want a lower offset. The E39 wheels I use are 20mm offset on 17x8 wheels(same as above). I have to use a 15mm spacer on the front to make this offset fit.

Hey...

What tire size should I run on 17" rims? I bought a set of 17" 540I wheels from a 1999 e39. Has anyone put these on an e28?

Thanks for the help....Mike
