Does anybody happen to know all the parts needed to upgrade the front breaks to bigger ones? Also what are the different options? From what I understand 750, 840, and 850 are the reasonable upgrades.

The E28 M5 would already have the same size rotors as an E32 750il (or any other E32). I understand that the E32 rotors are more resistant to warping than the original M5 rotors, though. Apparently the airflow through the vanes in the rotor was improved on the E32 rotors and they cool more quickly. The 850 rotors are 324x30 versus 302x28 for the M5 and E32. To do the 850 set up you'd have to change the calipers and carriers too.
