94k miles, eh?

Check out the leather seats, dash, rubber trim, rear spoiler, battery box (in trunk on right side), self-levelling system, shifter, tranny, driveshaft (vibration when accelerating through 25mph), power seats, seat heaters, radiator, hoses, all vacuum hoses and pipes (many of these), steering box/lines, front subframe cracks, wheel bearings, front calipers, valve adjustment, and very important: leakdown and compression. An independent shop will do just about all of this for about $250. It will be the best $250 you spend on the car, because walking away is better than taking on a car with dozens of hidden and very expensive nightmares. Or you could dicker the guy down if he hasn't been able to sell the car for a while.

Assuming the car is in average condition (avg/vg paint, no body damage, no Bondo, no torn leather, good state of tune, quiet drivetrain, good tires, pads, rotors, and some recent new parts), I'd offer $13,000 to start. If it's perfect with lots of new parts, then $15,500 is about the tops. Remeber you still have to fork out about $800-$1000 in parts alone to replace the timing chain and all other related hardware. This is recommended at the 100k mark if the car wasn't grannied its whole life (NOT LIKELY).

Good Luck
