It must be a function of Murphy's law or something. Here we are in January, the coldest month of the year, and then bang, a rush of bad clutchs. My car has the same problem at 128K. I should of guessed it would wait till now to start acting up. I'm going to give Paul (at Maximillian) a call. I also have a post from the BMW e28 M5 Mailing List from this fall that claims Bavarian has a kit which includes:clutch disk, pressure plate, both throw-out and pilot bearing, transmission seals, rear engine seal and exhaust gaskets for $409.95. I have not verified this price but will shortly.
