For sale: New Recaro SRD seat, grey, anti-sub slot (archive)

I made a deal with a local shop that I had to back out of due to changes in spending priorities. I am trying to help the local shop sell the seat, since they are a small shop and it was a special order.

The seat is a brand new, custom built Recaro SRD, in Avus grey (medium-dark grey) with an anti-sub belt slot. The slot is factory from Recaro, not "punched" by an aftermarket shop.

The color is an almost perfect match for the "dark pewter" cloth seats in my 1997 Firebird Formula, which is why I ordered it in that color. Should be a good color for most vehicles with medium to dark grey interior.

The deal I made with the shop was $760+tax for the seat and all hardware necessary to mount it in my Firebird. As a comparison, I have not seen this seat anywhere else for less than $675 for an SRD with aftermarket "punched" crotch belt slot, and that price was without any brackets or mounting hardware, so the $760 deal is an excellent price. If you live outside Washington, you will have to pay shipping but you won't have to pay tax, so it should come out the same. The shop can get mounting brackets for most vehicles.
