Stiff Clutch Pedal Problem Solved - Torn Bracket (archive)

Found the cause of my stiff clutch pedal. The pedal bracket failed where the clutch master cylinder attaches. It doesn't seem like too bad of a job to fix, at least compared to replacing the clutch. There is alot on this problem in the e28 forum archives. Anyone know part number of the bracket? If I can get a new one by this weekend I'll replace it, if not I'll get it welded.
