Sorry to hear that you haven't enjoyed your M5.

I've told many people that ask me about buying these cars, anyone can afford to purchase one, but the cost of owning one is another story.

I think Greg is 100% correct. Almost no one has the proper tools to work on this car. Who owns a torque wrench that goes to 326 lbs.? Who owns the proper tool to prevent the engine from just turning over (note: the PROPER tool!)

How many mechanics, without the right tool, have just cranked up their impact wrench to full power and hammered the nut on, thinking to themselves, "That torque spec is ridiculous. It will never come loose."

I've mentioned on this board before that a lengthy discussion with Korman Autoworks revealed that they've never seen a harmonic balancer fail that hadn't been removed since new. But they'll be glad to sell you a new one if you've got the money!

These cars are surely not for everyone. Good luck with whatever you decide.
