I use mine as a daily driver, therefore putting more miles on than many, approx. 25,000 a year. I've had mine almost five years. I fiqure that it would average out $100 per month for repairs excluding regular services like oil changes. Since I consider the car a hobby as well as transportation, and all my hobbies seem to cost money, I think its worth it. Everytime I think about replacing it, I look at used M3 prices and decide maintaining what I know is better than starting all over again. As one Irish friend said, "tis better to dance with the devil you know than the one you don't". If you do purchase, maintenance records are crucial.
