For a car in that condition, it still needs mechanical attention. I'd say $12,000 is fair price. See my other message to Jim Eagan a few message above this one on typical E28 M5 problems.

I'm kinda pissed my 88 M3 has red needles, but my 88 M5 doesn't!! Anyone know of an equivalent model paint color?
