The rear tail light assemblies on the E28 M5 are perhaps one of the few external body components that differentiate it from the rest of the E28 line up. Not only highly sought after, the factory rear tail light assemblies are difficult to find and quite expensive. (I'm sure Maximillian Importing Co., has them). Turner Motorsports offers Clear Turn Signals (front parking light assemblies) which are also available in black for the E30 M3, 325 up to '89 and E28, they retail for 49.95. The factory Front Parking Light Assemblies (p/n 63 131 386 611) are available at your local dealer for 12.75 which are time correct and much more true to vintage than the clears.

I have a 1988 M5 and the amber turn signals look really bad. Does anyone know where you can purchase a set of clear turn signal lenses for the front or rear? Any help would be appreciated.
