By all means, do it! You will have a blast and learn a lot about yourself and the M5. Go over the car well before hand and take care of things (tires, brakes, ALL fluids, suspension). The best thing to do is to take it to your trusted mechanic and tell him what you intend to do. They should know what is needed.

Have fun (I know that I do)

I have the opportunity to run my M5 at Watkins Glen. I use the car as a daily driver and don't want to trash it on the track. Any suggestions on tires, etc..... I know..don't run it on the track!....Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
