Short Shifter Recommendations (archive)

Two weeks ago I got an 88is which is in really good condition cosmetically and mechanically. The first upgrade I plan to do is a short shift installation because of the sloppiness in the shifter now. I have heard that the UCC kit is the way to go, am i correct in my assumption? and also how difficult is this modification? any response is appreciated
