Koni or Bilstein & what size wheel/tire combo? (archive)

My father and me are having the engine reworked to something around 300hp. Dad wants to go ahead and replace the current bilsteins. It has the dinan lowering springs. What shocks do you reccomend. Also, what size tires should go on 17's.
