Ted,

I just rebuilt my engine this winter and also have the Schrick 282 cam. My car has the Dinan chip with cam sprocket. I tested it with the G-tech Pro and got about the same results you did. My average over five runs was about 6.2, with a best of 6.164 and a quarter in the 14.2 range. I was running RE-71 Potenza's on 17 x 7.5 ATP wheels. There isn't a whole lot more you can do short of increasing the engine displacement.

I also have a BB-Tri FLow exhaust with the cats removed so your car is doing pretty good with the mods you mentioned.

As for the 40-50 hp increases Jim C. and Dinan claim, it's my opinion that this is hogwash. My car felt more like it gained 15 horsepower at most.

Your numbers sound reasonable.
