Carl Nelson of La Jolla Indepentdent BMW Service has the rebuild kits in stock. There about $35 per kit, two are needed. His number is 1-800-466-8184. His shop does a lot of work on M cars and stocks a lot of hard to find parts in addition to having a lot of experience.
