Danial - Thanks very much for the input. Exactly the information I needed. Sounds like the missing 7mm of offset can really cause some headaches. (I think Mel had (and Ted has) 235/40/17 tires - which probably make a difference... ) Much as I'd like to gain the extra width on the rim, don't know that I'm brave enough to try the Bekkers version - looks like the ATP 5 from TireRack (unless I can find an 17 x 8 version somewhere... ) Again, thanks for the information.
