M5 is prone to flooding... runs very rich... cranks rich. so... if the car starts initially... a bunch of fuel has just been dumped in the cylinders. if it stalls... restarting could be troublesome. if it's not catching, make sure you crank long enough and put the gas pedal to the floor. why the car stalled is another issue... perhaps fuel pressure regulator? are plugs good?
