if you want one, you want one. don't try to justify buying a car. it's going to depreciate. an old car will also cost you an unpredictable amount for maintenance. cars make no sense. there is no justification... unless you like them. if so they're fun... but they're irrational from a purely economic viewpoint.
BTW i'm still driving my 88 M5... original owner...
