Check your coolant temperature sensor and it's connector. It's located in the coolant header located above the exhaust header. You will find two sensors, one is a two-prong (spade-type connectors) sensor which sends the temperature signal to the dash gauge, I believe. The second, which is closer to the firewall, is the sensor in question. If the sensor or it's connector is bad, the DME will thinks the engine is cold, causing a warm engine to be flooded. Check out a Bosch Injection handbook for the Ohm values at certain coolant temperatures. The Bentley manual may have them as well.
