Your glove box Owner's Handbook contains a list of instructions for just such occaisions. :-) See the section titled "Restoring car to use" beginning in the middle column on page 59.

You might also check out the previous section of the Handbook, also on page 59, titled "Storage out of use" to help clue you in to potential problem areas, in case you didn't have time to properly prepare the car for storage. Best wishes!


I'm bringing my M5 out of her
Winter slumber, I've been working overseas for the last
7 Months.(this was unexpected and the car has not been started for this period) Anything special I should do before I bring her back to life?
