Will be putting the DInan Turbo e28 M5 on eBay Motors for any of
you that are interested. I would prefer a knowledgeable BMW
enthusiast to buy the car, that is why I am advertiing the car being
sold on eBay over here on the Bimmer boards. I posted earlier,
but here is the link to the car, incuding spects, photos, etc....
Thanks,
Jason.
To handle any confusion, I bought the car from Rob Levinson in
New Jersey a few months back. The link is to Rob's site.
I find it interesting that we would go all the way out to New Jersey to buy the car but won't go 500 miles north to Dinan to get the car smogged? Sounds kind of fishy. Now why are we selling the car?
I was in New York on business and went to NJ to look at the car at Rob's house and decided to buy it. I then had the car shipped out to Cal. in an enclosed, Thomas C. Sunday transporter. The car was then delivered to my shop in So. Cal. I bought the car in NJ because that's where I was at the time. I have decided to sell the car because my collection has taken a turn of sorts, and the M5 no longer fits in what I have planned. As far as driving the car 500 miles to Dinan, this is unnecessary due to the fact that the car is neither registered nor titled in Cal. The car still holds a NJ title and registration. The reason I did not title or register the car In Cal. is because I decided to sell the car PRIOR to that being necessary. I am selling the car because I no longer want it. How is this fishy? I just spent over $2,000 at Bullet making sure that the car is running the BEST it can possibly run. How is this fishy? The car is down at Classy Cars getting THOROUGHLY detailed over a two day period, at the cost of over $500. How is this fishy? I am taking every measure to see to it that the car is in the best possible selling condition, therefore, I am offended by you suggesting that what I am doing is suspect or fishy. All I am doing is selling a car, what's fishy about that?
Regards,
Jason.
