I finally want to upgrade my 88 M5 DME. But it's my daily driver, will never go to the track, all I really want is to get rid of that awful flat spot around 3000 rpm. Who makes a chip that will help the low end mostly, 2000-3500 range? And are there any potential long-term health consequences for my engine? Experienced opinions would be appreciated.
