While the Beast is phenominal car, comparing to a vette, especially of the latest C5 vintage or a Z06 is not a great comparison. The Beast is minisculey faster straight line than a Z06 but will not hang in corners with a Z06 or almost any C5 with the mildest of suspension prep. The late 70's suspension design of the E28(especially the rear semi-trailing arm) just dosn't hold up well to modern sports car. I know, I get beat by them in corners at Laguna Seca and Sears point.

I have the exact suspension on my car, and it's not up to even ///M Coupes or ///M3s with suspension work. These cars can easily carry 5-10mph faster through most corners at the track. This more than makes up for any striaght line speed advantage my turbo E28 has.

Believe me, this car is MUCH faster than a Vette in every respect.
