Are you aware the socket wrench in the toolkit is telescopic? You have to extend it and insert the smooth rod into the top of it to act as a tee handle.

I'm surprised if you don't have one. I looked at more than ten M5s before buying the one I have now and every single one of them had the sparkplug wrench. It is a valuable tool that you should have.

Take a look at the one you have and see if it's two piece. Try pulling it apart.
